The area is an officially designated nightlife zone and so being able to party 7 nights a week. The Clubs here are legendary and mostly frequented by Locals and Expats. Clubbing institutions are packed every night and – on weekends – jam packed to the last square centimeter.

Khao San Road

Another popular area for nightlife in Bangkok is Khao San Road. This used to be backpacker haven and probably still is. In recent years it became also a favorite of the local folks and Expats. Khao San Road is home to a number of bars and clubs, including The Club, which is known for its live music and cheap drinks. Khao San Road is a great place to meet other travelers and party into the early hours of the morning while having a sophisticated Cocktail or slurping Vodka Orange from a bucket.

Rooftop Clubs

For those looking for a more laid-back experience, Bangkok has plenty of options as well. The city is home to a number of rooftop bars and lounges, which offer stunning views of the city skyline and a more relaxed atmosphere. One of the most popular is the Sky Bar, located on the 63rd floor of the Lebua State Tower. This venue is known for its panoramic views of the city, and is a great place to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. It is also known to be a bit exclusive, so leave your Flip Flops and Shorts at home and come in a proper Jeans with a nice pair of Shoes. A slightly cheaper option yet also featuring an impressive view is Vertigo. The rooftop Bar is on top of the Banyan Tree Hotel on Sathorn.
